Tesco Free From Christmas Selection
|I was delighted to be invited to a Tesco Christmas Experience in late November. Everything was magical and Christmassy, I learnt to make an evergreen wreath and went to a masterclass for preparing turkey for the oven and making stuffing! There was a 5 course Christmas spread to die for. Of course my main focus of interest was what is in the free from range! And the range is truly magnificent this year. Usually my Christmas product watch posts would feature ranges from various places, but there is so much to offer in Tesco this year that I’ve given it its own post. I am so delighted with the affordability of most of the range also, they are leading the way making free from more pocket friendly. Here are some of my top picks from the Tesco Free From Christmas selection.
Tesco Free From Selection Box
The selection box contains a pack of white chocolate buttons, milk chocolate buttons, a bar of milk chocolate, choc n crispy bar and a white chocolate bar. This is available in stores in Ireland and the UK and at €3.50 / £2 it is very good value and coming very close to the price of regular non-free-from selection boxes.
Tesco Free From Chocolate Log
I was lucky enough to taste this one at the Tesco Christmas Experience dinner, it is truly delicious, difficult to tell it is free from! It is dairy, wheat and gluten free.
Free From Christmas Jumper Cake Kit
All I can think about is that scene in Father Ted with Eoin McLove and the Cake Jumper. I can’t wait to make this with the boys this week! Everything you need is in the box.
Free From Spiced Pear Pies
We haven’t tasted these ones ourselves, I’ve heard mixed reports, I suspect these are a nice alternative to mince pies if you don’t like them. Free from milk, wheat and gluten.
Tesco Free From Deep Filled Mince Pies
These *may* have been opened already, the boys and Mr. dairy free kids loved them, and the 4th one which I wanted to photograph was stolen before I got the chance. That says it all really.
