Sacla Free From Creamy Tomato Stir In, Tomato Pasta and Creamy Cherry Tomato
Sacla sent me some of their new range of Free From sauces to try out. The boys whose favourite food in the world is pasta pesto, were delighted. So far we have tried the creamy tomato stir in which is delicious, surprisingly creamy for a dairy free sauce, I didn’t miss the cheese at all. We also tried the red Tomato Pesto which is lovely and the Basil Pesto & Tomato Stir In. Delish! They are available in the UK for the moment, not in Ireland yet but watch out for them to become available in Dunnes Stores and SuperValu who sell their other products.
Free From Cod Fish Fingers
These are in the freezer in Aldi and are gluten free and dairy free. I haven’t tased them myself yet but I have it on good authority that they taste great and they are also a fraction of the price of other gluten free brands.
Plamil Orange Chocolate Spread
I didn’t taste this as the boys preferred to buy the plain chocolate one, but we spotted this in Tesco and I’m dying to try it! Dairy Free.
Chocolate Coated Orange Rice Cake Bars
My favourite find this month is these Chocolate Coated Orange Rice Cake Bars from Aldi. They are may contain milk and they are gluten free. Really delicious with a cuppa for elevenses or great for the kids lunchbox if they are allowed treats. The choc they get all over them is a dead giveaway though!
Holland & Barrett Easter Selection
Holland & Barrett have sent me some of their Easter chocolate goodies to try. The boys are delighted with themselves. They sent the Good Egg, {dairy free, gluten free, nut free, organic, fair trade, vegan} and the Good Egg which is all these plus also refined sugar free. These are both Holland & Barrett branded and come in lovely child friendly packaging shaped like a house. They also sent the cutest little chocolate chicks from Cocoa Libre which they also have available this Easter. The chicks are dairy free, gluten free and nut free. There is currently a buy one get one half price offer on all their Easter goodies, so grab them while they’re hot!
