Chocolate Marshmallow Pops
|These simple to make treats can make an easy dessert or a gift for someone. I have joined forces with the Free From Gang of bloggers again this month and we are continuing with the theme of #FreeFromEaster. This time we had to include a vlog with our recipe which was a new challenge. It’s a different story videoing the very willing children to videoing myself. Let me know how I did!
These pops would delight any child (or adult) and are a lighter alternative than the richer chocolate desserts around this time of year. Put them in a pretty jar with a ribbon and you have an Easter gift for grandparents or if you’re visiting someone over the long weekend.
Marshmallow Pops
A simple to make sweet treat. Great for Easter dessert or any other occasion. Dairy Free and Gluten Free.
Ingredients
- 200 g Marshmallows
- 60 g Dairy Free Chocolate I used Moo Free Original
- Sprinkles
- Ice Pop/Cake Pop Sticks or Straws
Instructions
-
Melt Chocolate in a bowl over a pot of boiling water. Ensure not to let the water touch the base of the bowl. [Once chocolate has melted remove from heat immediately as it is inclined to start cooking.]
-
Dip the large side of each marshmallow into the melted chocolate and then into sprinkles. Place on a tray or plate chocolate side up. Place in fridge for 30 minutes to chill.
-
Once the chocolate has set place a stick into the base of each marshmallow and stand in a glass or jar.
Recipe Notes
Decorate your jar with a ribbon or paint it (before you put pops in) if you are giving it as a gift.
