Maria Lucia Bakes Granola
I’ve only recently become a fan of granola with yoghurt for breakfast. I love it! This home baked granola from Maria Lucia, who turned her hobby into a small business, is dairy and gluten free. It comes in Cashew, almond & cinnamon, Cranberry, coconut & chia seed and Apricot, Walnut with a hint of treacle flavours. There is a full list of stockists on their website with more being added all the time.

Calippo Shots
I prefer these to the regular Calippos as they are much less messy. They consist of a tub of tiny ice lolly balls. Dairy free.

Fruit Bars
Fruit Bowl – School Bars and Fruit Snack, both fruit bars made from dried fruit, dairy free and available from health stores. I found these in The Health Store in Arklow.
Tesco Free From Double Chocolate Cake Bars
These are gluten, wheat and dairy free. I bought these twice lately, once for a taste test and once to bring to a birthday party as an alternative to the birthday cake for my son. They passed the taste test, I even had one with my cup of tea. They are a bit crumbly but my boys are always covered in chocolate when they have something like this anyway. They are in four individual packs so handy to break off as you need.

Wafer Daisies
These wafer daisies are dairy free, both the Tesco own brand and Dr. Oetker ones. Handy to brighten up your dairy free cakes.

Star Wars Ice Lollies ice
I found these ice pops in Aldi, the boys love them.
Alpro Soya Chocolate Milk
This has been available for a long time but I’ve only bought it recently. I made ice-pops with it. I’m not sure how well the soya will freeze, will post results here after we’ve tried the ice-pops. Needless to say the boys love it as a drink and in cereal. But it won’t be a regular thing.
