New yogurts from Alpro

I was delighted to find these two new products in the fridge in my local Dunnes Stores. It seems both Dunnes and Tesco are working on expanding their dairy substitutes range.

Alpro Simply Plain – I’m hoping to mix this with pureed pear or mashed banana or kiwi to make new yoghurt flavours for my boys. Haven’t tried yet but it might be useful for cooking with also.

Alpro vanilla pouring yoghurt – this looks nice as a dessert and possibly a good substitute for custard or cream poured over apple tart or fruit salad.
