Bright Star Kids Personalised Labels Review and Giveaway!
|Bright Star Kids Personalised Labels
Who likes labels? I do, I can pretend I’m ultra organised if I have things labelled. When it comes to kids’ clothes and shoes, it simply makes sense to label them especially if they are attending crèche and school. My son’s school has no uniform so I end up labelling a lot of items, hoodies, jumpers, hats and coats as well as his school bag, pencil-case, pencils etc. He has still ended up losing things but at least there’s some chance if they have his name on them.
When Bright Star Kids asked me to do a review of their labels, I jumped at the chance. At the time the summer was stretching out in front of me, even now just a few weeks later the back to school feeling has started to kick in. So it’s time to get organised. My almost-4-year-old came home from crèche with someone else’s identical-but-in-a-bigger-size pair of shoes recently so I wanted to start labelling shoes for him as well as his jumpers, coats and hats.
Bright Star Kids is an Irish/Australian company who have been on the go for 10 years but have only recently launched their Euro site. Their online store does a range of personalised labels and also carries a lot of other goods from cute customised kids clothes to bags and umbrellas for kids. I was delighted to see their selection of customisable allergy labels, to label lunch-boxes, freezer bags, or boxes for the larder or fridge. A set of these would make life easier in the kitchen when doing allergen labelling. You could also use to put on your child’s lunch-box going to school or camp!
I received a voucher and was spoilt for choice. I was very sensible and got the labels for back to school but there’s plenty of other nice items to choose from. The website is easy to navigate, bright and colourful and the check out basket works well, it was a simple straightforward transaction. Delivery to Ireland took about 2 weeks.
I chose 2 packs of labels – for my school-going son I chose the Essential Label Kits which currently retails at €19.95 and contains 20 large labels, 30 small labels and 40 small pencil labels.
For my boy in Montessori I chose the Starter Labels Value Kit which is at the reduced price of €20.95 at the
moment. It contains 16 shoe labels and plastic cover stickers, 30 iron on labels and 40 pencil labels. The shoe labels have clear plastic labels to make them more secure.
The iron on labels are simple and quick to apply. The plastic shoe labels have lasted well in a preschoolers shoes for two weeks so far, so looks good! And the other labels are dishwasher safe so will be great for the lunch-boxes and drinks bottles for September. All in all I’m delighted with the service and the products and would recommend.

These would be FAB for my little girl, she is forever losing her clothing in school – last school year she lost 7 cardigans and spent the last month without one – this year she is getting the clothes sewn to her as her primary school has changed uniform and this one comes with a hefty £100 price tag for one uniform – she needs at least 2-3!!!!
I’d love to win for my daughter x
